Hickory Hills, Illinois

Hickory Hills is a city in Cook County, located mostly in Palos Township. It was incorporated as a village in 1951 and became a city in 1966. Neighboring communities are Palos Hills, Bridgeview, Justice and Willow Springs.

The city sits on the Tinley Moraine and is bounded on the west by the Palos Forest Preserves, with access to the preserves' Palos Trail System.

Getting around

The Tri-State Tollway (I-294) forms the city's eastern edge.
87th Street and 95th Street (U.S. Routes 12 and 20) are the main east–west roads.
Pace Routes 379, 381 and 385 serve the city.
